Andy and Helen become an item, but not before Barney has his say. Determined to find Andy a wife, Barney parades every eligible female in town through Andy's living room. Andy, though, wants nothing to do with any of them ... until he meets Helen Crump. She, of course, doesn't meet with Barne'ys approval.

"I watched 'Andy & Helen's Baby' last night on Mayberry RFD and in it, Goober takes credit for getting Andy & Helen together. Not so! Barney in his always inept way was who got them together. "This is one where you can just quote the great lines. "They're all hand picked, ya know." "Well, the search goes on..." And I love Andy's honesty in his "you want me to tell ya, I'll tell ya" speech. And the "sometimes I get to feeling downright lonesome" bit. God this show had great writers.
