"Sunni, Orvie, Frisbee and Winky"
Lisa is such a dedicated pet owner, she is known as "BrdMom" on the web! ;-):
"I can go on about my "kids" all day and night! Here is some
info on my guys & gal:
Sunni--the yellow, apple-green budgie is a 3 yr. old male. Around here he
is known as the "social director" because he loves to visit with human
guests and the rest of my feathered family. He is the prolific talker of
the house, and can address all the other parrots by their names. He loves
to talk on the phone, bread, pasta, and and any treats he can get his beak
on. He gives kisses and will cuddle by your cheek.
Orvie-is a 3 yr. old red-bellied parrot. His full name is "Orville
Redinbelly" --get it?? He is troublemaker of the house,being cute is his
saving grace. He loves to give kisses in return for many head scratches and
will talk from time to time(especially around treat time--"Hey, Hey").
Frisbee--is a 4 yr. old female pied peachface lovebird. She was welcomed
into the family when her owner, facing a 3rd bout with cancer, couldn't take
care of her anymore. She is sweet and feisty--all at the same time. She
loves both the budgies--but hates Orvie and can make him run like a chicken
escaping from KFC. She is a typical lovebird/bosslady.
Winky-is the blue baby male budgie(he'll be a yr. old on Nov. 11th). He was
named "Winky" because as a baby-baby he had one eye open only at
first--which made him look like he was winking at you. He loves to hang
upsidedown from his cage dometop--thereby being known as the "Winky-Bat." He
is starting to talk thanks to his big brother Sunni's chatter."
